Enjoy Your Military Time
A night I couldn't forget,
A part of doing I may have regret.
There were Adi, Syafiq, Hakim and Me,
But Adi's the one going for NS army.
We just roamed about within the Choa Chu Kang parameters, around and in Lot 1 Shoppers' Mall. There I could see my colleagues working while I hid in the public outdoors. My cousins and I had not spent a time together since Hari Raya Festival '08. Due to my cousin, Adi, going for his NS tomorrow, I just planned that we all reunited for a little while; a little longer, a little better. Now I see a big difference between them and me; I never smoked. We watched Transformers 2:Revenge of the Fallen, first time for Hakim, twice for the rest.
Midnight had striked and the other three lives quite far away from me. They were fortunate that there were trains and buses still active for transport. But that was the last time I would see Adi with his good-looking hairstyle and skinny body. The next time, it would be a bit of tan, a bit of buzzcut, and a bit of discipline.
